Moab, Utah...a unique destination

We visited Moab, Utah for 6 nights and fell in love with this little town! Not only are Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park nearby, this town is full of great shops, restaurants, and even a food truck park!

This stop was meant to be for just a few nights but due to some changes in our route, we were able to extend this leg! We stayed at Sun Outdoors North Moab. This campground was essentially a parking lot with great amenities. It is truly meant for a place to put your RV in park and go adventure!

We ate at Dewey's restaurant downtown (as per locals recommendation) and Sunset Grill. Both were good and the views at Sunset Grill were amazing! We enjoyed breakfast at Moab Grill while our truck got new front tires & shocks (we know, always something!) at Point S Moab.

Twice we ventured down to the food truck park in downtown. This gem is nestled behind the shops on Main Street. There were about a dozen food trucks of all sorts along with a dining area complete with shade and misters! (PS It's dog friendly too!)

We also did some shopping in the cute shops downtown. The shops had a lot of touristy things- t shirts, stickers, hats, outdoor wear. There is also an art gallery and bookstore worth popping into!

Arches was by far our favorite national park so far! Seeing the arches in real life can't compare to pictures!! Add this to your bucket list!

We also took at UTV ride along some crazy mountainous trails! How this was a beginner level was beyond us! We enjoyed the views from Hell's Revenge but this is NOT for the faint of heart! Our tour guide Kyle was great! He was filled with local knowledge, hidden paths and also a great photographer! We rented our Ultimate UTV Adventures.

We will warn you, it was hot...more than 95 degrees every day. To stay cool one afternoon, we were able to squeeze in Oppenheimer at Slickrock Cinema!

Moab is a town that not only boasts touristy things to do but you get a sense of community while you're visiting. The views are unreal and the location is hard to beat!
